For most people, washing your face twice a day is a good routine:
- 🌅 Morning: Wash to remove oil and sweat that accumulated overnight.
- 🌙 Before bed: Wash to remove sunscreen, makeup, dirt, oil, and pollution.
- 🏃 After heavy sweating: Rinse or gently cleanse your face afterward if possible.
If you have acne-prone or oily skin
Twice daily is usually enough. Washing more often doesn’t necessarily prevent acne and can irritate or dry your skin, potentially making things worse.
If your skin is dry or sensitive
You may only need cleanser once at night, followed by a gentle moisturizer. In the morning, a water rinse may be sufficient.
Tip: Use lukewarm (not hot) water and a gentle, non-abrasive cleanser. Avoid scrubbing or harsh soaps.
