Healthy Daily Skin Care That Supports Freshness

🌙 Night Routine for Acne-Prone Skin

Keep it simple and consistent:

  1. Gentle cleanser
    • Remove sunscreen, makeup, oil, and dirt without scrubbing.
    • Use lukewarm water and avoid harsh/fragranced cleansers.
  2. Acne treatment
Choose one main active to start:

    • Adapalene 0.1% β€” a good option for recurring acne, clogged pores, and prevention of new breakouts. Use a pea-sized amount for the entire acne-prone area, not just individual spots.
    • Salicylic acid 0.5–2% β€” useful for blackheads and clogged pores.
    • Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% β€” particularly useful for inflamed pimples.

Don’t start all three together; irritation can make your skin worse.

  3. Moisturizer
    • Use a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer.
    • If you’re easily irritated, apply moisturizer before and after adapalene (β€œsandwich” method).

Important: If you’re pregnant or trying to become pregnant, avoid topical retinoids such as adapalene and ask your healthcare professional about alternatives.
